Head of Marketing

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve the company's business objectives and increase market share.
  • Leadership: Lead and manage the marketing team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the team meets its goals.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Campaign Oversight: Direct the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team and monitor progress, using analytics to drive decision-making and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Public Relations: Oversee public relations activities, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies, and implement innovative tactics to keep the company competitive.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on marketing activities, results, and future plans to senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.

  • Certifications: Professional certifications in marketing or related fields are advantageous.
